A quick how-to for narrowing Mergr's transaction database to deals announced in 2025 — useful when you're benchmarking recent activity, building a year-in-review, or scoping current market conditions.
Search Example: All M&A Deals Announced in 2025
Step 1
Open the M&A Transaction Search page. From the Dashboard, click Transactions — or open it from the Menu tray.
Step 2
Find the date fields. The From and To selectors sit in the first row of search options. They filter transactions by announcement month and year.
Step 3
Set your date range. Set both the From Year and To Year dropdowns to 2025.
Step 4
Click Search. Your results will list every M&A deal announced in 2025.
Your results will contain all M&A deals announced in 2025.
Narrowing further
The date filter is one of many. Layer additional filters — sector, geography, deal size, buyer type, advisor involvement — to focus on the slice of 2025 activity that matters to you.
