Custom PE / M&A Data Requests

Bespoke data extracts and exports from the Mergr database — for CRM seeding, market mapping, target lists, ownership enrichment, recurring data feeds, and anything self-serve exports can't deliver.

Who this is for

Custom data work is typically commissioned by:

  • Investment banks building target lists or market-mapping a sector

  • PE firms seeding their CRM, enriching pipelines, or mapping a thesis area

  • Corporate development teams scanning niche acquirers or building peer comp sets

  • Recruiting firms and search consultants sourcing professionals across a defined universe

  • Researchers, service providers, and data teams with one-off or recurring data needs

If you've hit the 250-row cap on standard Mergr Pro exports or need fields or slices the web interface doesn't support, this is the right service.

Need live, query-based access from your own applications instead of a file? See Mergr API. Not sure which fits? Contact us with your use case — we'll point you to the right one.

What we deliver

  • Format — CSV by default; Excel or JSON on request.

  • Scope — any subset of Mergr's database: PE firms, companies, deals, advisors, professionals, press releases — or any combination, with custom filtering and fields.

  • Cadence — one-time delivery or recurring (monthly, quarterly, on-demand).

  • NDA-ready — we'll sign your NDA before scoping.

All records are human-verified and updated daily — the same data behind mergr.com, not an aggregated scrape.

Pricing

Projects are priced on scope, complexity, and fields delivered.

Typical engagements:

  • One-time exports: starting at $7k, scaling with record count and field complexity.

  • Recurring feeds (monthly / quarterly refresh): starting at $1k/month on annual contracts.

  • Enrichment work (combining Mergr data with your existing records): priced per project after scoping.

How it works

  1. Email us. Send sales@mergr.com a one-paragraph description of what you need. Even rough is fine — e.g. “all PE-backed HVAC companies in the Southeast with their owners and last deal” — we'll refine on the call.

  2. Discovery call (15–30 minutes) to confirm scope, fields, format, and cadence. NDA signed at this stage if needed.

  3. Quote and sample — you receive a fixed quote and, where useful, a small sample of the dataset before committing.

  4. Delivery — typical turnaround is 3–10 business days for one-time projects; recurring feeds run on an agreed schedule recurring feeds run on an agreed schedule.
