Monthly allowance
Your membership includes a monthly allowance of records that is shared between CSV downloads and CRM pushes. Your current usage and reset date show on the Integrations page and next to the CSV download button. The allowance resets on your billing date each month.
Each record created or updated in your CRM counts as one.
A new owner or employer added alongside it counts as one more.
Linking to an owner or employer already in your CRM is free.
A push that finds the record already in your CRM and leaves it unchanged is free.
A push that fails is not counted.
If your team needs more, email support@mergr.com.
Trials and subscriptions
Free trial: the CRM button and the Connect buttons open an upgrade window. Ending your trial starts a month-to-month membership, and the integration is available on the next page you open.
When a subscription ends: pushes stop within a day. Your connection is kept, so pushing resumes as soon as the subscription is renewed.
Privacy & security
Your CRM password stays with your CRM. You sign in on HubSpot's or Salesforce's own page; Mergr receives an access token, which it stores encrypted.
Mergr only writes what you push. It reads Companies/Accounts and Contacts only to check for duplicates, and never deletes anything.
Connections are personal. Each person's connection uses their own CRM login, so records are created under the right user.
Disconnecting on the Integrations page revokes Mergr's access immediately. You can also remove the Mergr app from HubSpot's or Salesforce's connected-apps settings.
Troubleshooting
What you see | What it means | What to do |
An upgrade window opens when you click the CRM button or Connect | Your account is on a free trial. | End the trial from that window to start a membership. |
"Monthly push limit reached. Resets on …" | This month's allowance is used up. | Pushing resumes on the date shown, or email support@mergr.com. |
"Individual account required" or "Sign in required" | You are signed in with a shared team login. | Sign in with your own Mergr account. |
"HubSpot is connected. Disconnect it first" (or the same for Salesforce) | Only one CRM can be connected at a time. | Disconnect the other CRM on the Integrations page, then connect. |
The CRM button asks you to reload the page | Your page has been open for more than a day. | Reload the page and push again. |
HubSpot: a message about a missing permission or scope | The connection was approved before Mergr needed that permission. | Disconnect HubSpot and connect again. |
Salesforce: pushes fail right after connecting | The first connection was made by someone without admin rights, so Mergr couldn't create its fields. | Ask a Salesforce admin to connect once (or assign you the Mergr Integration permission set), then disconnect and reconnect. |
Salesforce: the Mergr fields don't show on Account pages | New fields aren't added to page layouts automatically. | Ask an admin to add them to the Account and Contact page layouts. |
The same company appears twice in your CRM | The existing record had no website, or a different domain, so Mergr couldn't match it. | Add the website to the existing record and merge the two in your CRM. |
"Connection failed" after approving access | The sign-in was cancelled or timed out. | Click Connect again. If it keeps failing, email support@mergr.com. |
