How to Save and Recall Searches on Mergr

Save any search you'll run again — filter combinations, sort, and all — and recall it from the Dashboard, the Saved Searches page, or directly from the search page where you saved it.

Why save a search

A few situations make saved searches worth the click:

  • Recurring research. Re-run the same filter combination weekly or monthly without rebuilding it.

  • BD pipelines. Save your target lists (e.g., "PE-backed software companies in California, $100M+ revenue") and re-run as the market shifts.

  • Vendor target lists. Service providers and vendors tracking specific buyer or seller universes save once and check back regularly.

  • Complex filter combinations. Multi-criteria searches that take time to assemble — sector + size + geography + ownership + activity threshold — only get built once.

  • Sharing logic with future you. Saved searches act as documentation: six months from now, "What were the exact filters I used for that 2026 industrial roll-up scan?" is one click away.

What gets saved

A saved search captures the filter combination, sort, and any keyword inputs you had set at the moment you saved. When you re-run it later, Mergr returns the current matching records against your saved criteria — not a frozen snapshot from when you saved. So a saved search re-run in three months reflects everything that's hit the database since.

How to recall a saved search

Two paths, depending on where you are:

  • From the Dashboard. The Dashboard shows your most recently saved searches in a saved-searches block. Click any to re-run.

  • From the Saved Searches page. Open Saved Searches from the navigation tray.

The Saved Search page groups your saved searches by type (PE / Company / Transaction / Advisor / Professional) and shows all of them — useful when you have several saved at once.

Saved Searches are categorized by type on the saved searches page. To remove a saved search, select Delete Search.
