Every day at Mergr - we look to capture and enter the latest M&A announcements. This can include buyouts and take privates by private equity firms, or add-ons, mergers, and other transactions by strategic acquirers.
If the deal situation is not super relevant and you're simply looking to build a list of recently acquired companies - here's how you would do it on Mergr.
Step 1
Navigate to the Company Search page.
Step 2
By default, the table of results on the Company Search page is sorted by 'Acquisition Count - High / Low'.
For this search, we want to adjust the Sort option to 'Was Acquired - Most Recent Date First'
Once the new sort is applied, the results will change based on the date the company was acquired.
The date the company was acquired (as well as the name of the acquirer) is listed in the first column as shown below.
